As you can see by my Insta feed, I love nature, the arts, AFL and my family, including two pesky cats - and not necessarily in that order!
I also love reading, writing and editing, which is just as well given it's my profession. I have decades of experience as a journalist for newspapers and magazines, working as an editor and writer.
I started Edit Suite WA as a side hustle when I left my last magazine and haven't looked back. I love the variety, whether it's reviewing a musical, writing about consumer rights or introducing readers to some of Western Australia's marvellous producers..
One of my biggest recent challenges was writing a book about survivors of torture and trauma. It was a privilege to be invited to share just a little of their remarkable stories.
On the lighter side, I have also edited two cookbooks, and regularly write about food, the arts and travel.
